The shooting occurred at around 10:30 p.m. on Sunday at a convenience store located in the 2200 block of East Belt Line Road. Police say that the suspect and his son pulled up to the store in a vehicle and opened fire, killing three teenagers and injuring another. The victims have been identified as 15-year-old Jose Angel Rodriguez, 16-year-old Xavier Gonzalez, and 17-year-old Ivan Noyola. The injured victim, a 15-year-old girl, was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say that the motive for the shooting is still under investigation. However, they believe that the shooting was gang-related. The suspect is being held in the Garland City Jail on charges of capital murder and aggravated assault.
